Autonomic Nervous System: also referred to as the involuntary nervous system, is made up of the sympathetic system which governs the “fight or flight” orders and the parasympathetic system responsible for calm, normality and general organ function. Performance anxiety sometimes causes the sympathetic system to overload, draining reserves of adrenaline.
